This month, we delve into key highlights from the UN World Data Forum 2024 in Medellín, where OECD experts explored themes like SDMX’s transformative role, youth empowerment, and the retreat of open data.
We also celebrate Statistics Netherlands (CBS NL) joining the Statistical Information System Collaboration Community (SIS-CC), marking a significant step in adopting the SDMX standard and modernising data dissemination. Additionally, we introduce a new self-paced course from the .Stat Academy on creating and applying mappings for the .Stat Suite, designed to enhance skills in data consistency and interoperability.
Finally, we spotlight the SDMX Regional Training Workshop in Istanbul, where participants gained hands-on experience with advanced SDMX concepts, metadata modelling, and automation techniques to improve data workflows.
