SIS-CC 2026–2030 Strategy: Official Launch

To kick off the new year, we are pleased to officially launch the SIS-CC 2026–2030 Strategy, setting out an ambitious vision to transform official statistics for the digital age. With a strong focus on AI-readiness, user-driven innovation, and the statistical Data Mesh paradigm, the strategy reinforces our commitment to open-source delivery, cooperative investment, and knowledge building — laying the foundations for a more interoperable, inclusive, and sustainable global data ecosystem.

Alongside this, we reflect on a pivotal 2025 through our Year in Review, highlighting key milestones in AI readiness, next-generation SDMX modelling, metadata-driven automation, capacity building, and .Stat Suite implementations. We also spotlight concrete progress in practice, from the National Bank of Belgium’s new Data Explorer enhancing access and usability of official statistics, to the continued growth of the .Stat Academy, now supporting a global community of learners with expanded courses and certifications.
