The Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre joins the Community

The Community is very pleased to welcome the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC) as the newest member, bringing the total membership to 15.

Over the last few months FCSC have been exploring options to move from a excel publication of data tables to a dynamic standards based approach, having now settled on the .Stat Suite that will underpin their data dissemination infrastructure.

The Community will work closely with FCSC to support them in capacity building and training in SDMX data modelling, with the implementation of the .Stat Suite for an initial internal sharing of data before the end of 2019.

The Community looks forward to a fruitful collaboration with FCSC for the years to come.

The FCSC is a federal government authority reporting to UAE Cabinet aiming to develop the UAE’s performance in the areas of competitiveness and statistics, through establishing an integrated national statistical system and regulating the statistical and competitiveness sector to achieve UAE’s national interests.
